Day one after a relapse.

Well, I am back.
so sick of being sick. Will be going to a sober friends house right after AA for the night to get back on track.
Feel so worn down.

Sounds like you have a good plan for the day, I encourage people going through withdrawal to consult with your doc.

All the best for many sober days
Andrew

Day 0 is way worse than day 1. You're in the right place.

The merry-go-round was exhausting for me, I sure understand how you feel, Unitedguy.

I had to leave the circus.... what a monkey off my back.

You don't have to live this way. I'm happy you're reaching out.

Good for you on getting back at it UG. You've got the power to break this cycle for good. This absolutely can be your last day 1, but you've got to dig deep and never forget where just one drink will take you. Always remember why you won't drink today, and repeat tomorrow.

Unitedguy, you never have to feel like this again. I'm glad you're back and working on your recovery.
