You really need to ask your doctor this question. Make an appt for a check up if it happens again. Were you hungry? Low blood sugar can make you dizzy.

All medical tests are normal and fine. Maybe a bit dehydrated.

Hi, i had a similar experience after a week or two but havent found out exactly why, i did consider that it could be due to stress. Do you think you are under a lot of stress or feel stressed?

It could have been a little stress too... I also have various types of migraines, was thinking that could have been a contributing factor.

I think that withdrawal added to my already high stress levels but am sure it will be worth it in the long run. Think im having post acute withdrawal symptoms at the moment

I actually posted something because i was wondering if it was part of "PAWS". I'm willing to go through whatever I need to just to stay sober forever.

I hope you feel better and stay strong!

I have vertigo at times, but never a spinning sensation.

Not sure what that is, but dizziness is common after quitting drinking. It's grouped in there with all the PAWS symptoms.

Thanks guys! It may have been vertigo kicking in, dizziness with a spin sensation. Drank lots of water and was better. I've had vertigo for a couple years. The not drinking has helped it tremendously.

Since you've been to a doctor and everything checked out fine...

There are so many things that can cause that. It's just one of those things that people just have from time to time. A cold. Fatigue. Stress. Not having eaten. Or sometimes they come out of nowhere. My brother had it for a while every time he was lying in bed. It went away eventually.

Our human bodies aren't perfect. Sometimes there's a harmless glitch.

I have something completely harmless and it has the funniest name. I mean, when I looked it up, I bust up laughing because it's called Exploding Head Syndrome.

Completely harmless. Just a glitch.

Which, if your doctor checked it out and you are fine, is probably just what it was.

I've heard ear infections can cause issues, also maybe look up the term vertigo.
