Is it just me?
Hello all,
I am a newcomer to the forum.
Hope you all are well.
I just have a quick question?
I have been sober for 4 months.
Since I stopped drinking, I started breaking out with pimples on my face and chest.
I tried everything.
I religiously drink Aloe juice on an empty stomach every morning.
Nothing works.
Any ideas, or is it just me?

Congrats on four months. I had an increase in break outs too and I suspect it was due to the increased amount of sugar and junk food I was eating to get through cravings. Could this be a possibility? I've eliminated sweets recently and have noticed a HUGE difference. Don't try to eliminate everything at once though. I focused on staying sober for a year and now have been 6 weeks without sweets.

Hello guys,
Thank you all for your replies and making me feel so welcome.
Do you think that we could ever have a drink like normal people again.
Like have a glass of wine at dinner.
Or a social drink with a friend after work?
It's hard to think that this is possible.
Prevention is better than cure?

Alcoholics can never drink normally again, not even after a long period of abstinence. I tried to drink normally but always failed. I finally came to the realization that it was easier for me to not drink at all.
