I am lucky & have had no desire too .. Even though this pass week has been bad & the 30iches of snow we got hasn't helped .
But no need to throw it away. Hang tough bro ...

My name is August West, and I love my Pearly Baker best more than my wine.
More than my wine - more than my maker, though he's no friend of mine.

I'm depressed, and I don't want to drink today. So I won't. I know what waits for me if I drink, more depression, more regret and another day one.
I don't need that crap. I've drank in your situation a hundred times and all it ever got me was drunk and miserable.
I'm not going to drink today. I hope you join me,

Don't let Jonas be your excuse.
I am in the blizzard too. Went out for a walk and only bars and liquor stores are open. Seeing people drunk at 1pm gave me a twinge as well...Until I saw someone vomit and fall into a snow drift.
I remember the last blizzard that being a real issue. I heard multiple stories of people passing out in the snow and needing medical attention.
Someone on here used to ask, What's the worst thing that could happen because you didn't drink today?
Because you did?
