The bond it's real
Hi I've been lurking for years . I get 30 days or 7 months and even a year once . I struggle most days I work in a beautiful city with a glamorous bar every block . I put the Chardonnay in my system and I can not stop then after getting really I'll with withdrawals I get some time back then I think I'm cured because that's what my disease tells me. I just wanted to say hi and get some support . I don't want to die just yet . Or kill anyone else . I work in Boston and they have really good AA always. Take my will back . I want to be healthy and do the next right thing just need support and want to be a part of this community

SR really helped me break that cycle of drinking...then feeling ill... felling better and then drinking again...

Ah, those glamorous bars. And not so glamorous bars. And quite frankly, those dive bars. All had my name on them, inviting me inside. I found more welcome and fellowship here and at AA than I ever found in any of the bars. Keep coming back.

Hi all update. My day 1 turned out to be December happy to report I have 45 days sober . Taking it one day at a time . I loss someone very important to me on Jan 2nd but I know they would want me to stay sober and take care of myself . Live the best life moment to moment been reading here . I also been staying off Facebook. I have been going to meetings and asking for help. It's such a nice feeling to wake up clear headed and remorse free. I just wanted to check in and say hi. I will pray for all the peeps on this board tonight! We are all trying to do the next right thing.
