Return of the shakes ?

hello everyone, on day 23 here, need some advise from the experienced none drinkers out there, after 4 days the shakes left and i was solid as a rock, today for some reason the shakes returned, was paying for something and when i put my hand out for the change it was like day 2 with the shakes, is this a normal thing ? in my weak attempts at staying sober i have never made it past a week or two so maybe this is part of the process,i would like your views, thanks and happy new year.

Good for you for reaching Day 23. I didn't experience this, but if you are concerned you could check with your dr.

Day 23 is fantastic!!

For the first few months I don't think physically things settled down, it took time for all the niggles and aches etc to ease and go away.

However if you're concerned as always getting checked out by a Dr is the best way forward, just for peace of mind more than anything!!

Congratulations on 23 days! For me, I know when I was drinking I wasn't taking care of my health so I was somewhat surprised over time as the sober years accumulated how ouchy I really was. It was good for me to meet with my doctor and work on the issues.

Could you be hungry, over-sugared, or over-caffeinated? After I'd spent a long time with drink as the center of your diet, I kind of had to re-learn to eat well.

I experienced a reoccurrence of various withdrawal symptoms after a few weeks.
