Day 3 update

I'm still in bed, as my husband and I go to bed pretty late. He is always a bit grumpy in the morning before he goes to work - probably because he hasn't had his coffee, but who knows. So I always call him once he is at work because he is in a better mood.

Today is my day 3. My husband told me last night that he thought for sure I would be drinking, so I guess I surprised him, as my pattern had been a day off and then a day back. He asked why I just can't be normal, oh well.

Just feeling sleepy right now, will probably get more rest.

You were sober for months if I remember correctly. You can do it again, for good!

SIT - your pattern was 1 day on, one day off. Mine was usually 3 days on, 1 day off. That 1 day off allowed me to call myself a binge drinker instead of an alcoholic. Sheesh. Hang in there. I'm on day 4 and very tired. I will allow myself to rest as needed. You should do the same.

Great job SoberTX! It gets better the longer you stay abstinent.

Thank everyone! Well, I just got in my hour exercise. My parents came over to visit and bring me some things, so that was nice. They are very supportive of me and my recovery. Well, now I have to get ready for individual counseling.

Hang in there I know it is tough. Exercise is great. It seems to keep your mind from racing.
