Just for today....
"Just for today, I will have a plan. I may not stick to it exactly, but I will have it." --the original "Just For Today"
THIS ^^^ rather than recalibrating every 60 seconds what I think I can and should get accomplished.
And then the sense to stop when realistic gains have been made, and the gratitude to be happy and content w/what has gotten done.
This may sound repetitive, as I posted something similar a little while ago, but it is an ongoing problem!

Mine is pretty specific today, apologies if this is too sad or too triggering:
Just for today I will remember to cherish every minute that I have with DD. This week we are honoring the memory of my friend's little boy who was only a couple wks younger than DD, but who lost his battle with brain cancer 2 years ago.
This is hard for me every day, but the anniversary of his death is especially difficult every year. We all try to spend the week "paying it forward" to others rather than wallowing in our loss.
This reminds me how out of control we really are in the big picture of life. There was no rhyme or reason as to why this happened, no ignored warnings or symptoms, no minimized aches or pains, no genetic history. Just a happy little donut-eating-3rd grade-Star Wars fan one minute & a cancer-fighting warrior the next. He's our special angel.

Just for today , I will not second guess setting a boundary for myself.
Just for today , I will accept that if I take steps to do so, I cannot expect people to react how I would like them to.
Just for today , I will let people live thier own lives, I will live my life.
