Cool! Yeah, those home mods are v important. One of my favourite projects in my last job was to get Fed funding for a multi-agency thing: a couple of new architect designed (and funky) little houses for a dilapidated public housing estate. 6 star energy ratings, and in-built from planning stage, completely disability access friendly. Many people don't realise how an entire house can be made or revamped this way AND even still be stylish. Should be much more of it.
