Would this odd feeling be being sober and not hungover.?

Instead of going to sleep feeling good you wake feeling good. I am definitely liking that more than the other option.

Alert? Unheard of!
And apparently it is traditional to eat in the morning. Omelet! Ok, attempted omelet, but darn good anyway.

That's awesom BDT. Ya it's funny. There actually is something humans do in the morning, eat.

And just like that, omelet gone and I'm still hungry. I wolfed it down like a half-starved puppy. I neever eat breakfast.

It is a great feeling to wake up not full of last night's regrets, isn't it?
P.S. I think some people call that food you eat early in the morning "breakfast."

Early sobriety is a hungry time. I ate all the food and then some.
Nutrition wasn't high on the agenda when drinking.

Burst of energy. Fixing everything not nailed down. Get this damn elephant out of the living room and I'd even sweep under the couch....
