After all the terrible stories I've read here...

After all of that, let me share what solved it all for me.

Blend a good feeling into the feeling that makes you drink. That's it.

Many will have objections. But do it first. Your world might shatter, in a good way this time.

Take the feeling that makes you drink. Blend in a good feeling. If there are more, blend in another one. Never use the same good feeling twice in a row.

This will work. And it will cure you. It cured me. And if you want to challenge me on it, PM me. I've tried to help several people but they didn't really want to change. PM me if you do, after what I said didn't work. It's not like it'll be difficult, it'll be pleasurable. The only people who didn't get the results were the ones who weren't willing to. Be willing to or you'll be in the trashcan fast.

This got me sober and in control.

I'd rather challenge you here thanks

I'm glad if this works for you, but I don't think it's a universal cure
I had lots of good thoughts when I was drinking. Didn't stop me drinking tho

I drank through all kinds of thoughts - good bad or indifferent.
The idea that I'd stop drinking if I was flush with good emotions and bonhomie simply does not match my experience.

How long has this been working for you ZHIK (and yes it is important.)

and...what's your definition of 'cured'? that's a big claim to make.

I'm curious, Z, as to what "sober and in control" means?

Did you try it? Blend a good feeling into the feeling that makes you want to drink.

Cured? It's when one has no addiction anymore and has control.

It's like you pour the good feeling into the one that makes you drink.

I think it was actually a "good feeling" that made me drink. Liking the buzz and the delusion associated with it.

Very simple. There is a feeling that makes you want to drink. Blend a good feeling into it, like adding milk to coffee.
