hell to the yes!!!
hell to the yes!!!
My dad had an MRI yesterday (stage 4 glioblastoma brain tumor)- results today. THE TUMOR SHRANK A BIT!!!
Dad needed some good news - and OMG my family and I needed some good news there. Not using the 'remission' word....but smaller instead of bigger fills my heart with joy. I spent the last 2 days bracing myself for seriously crappy news on this.... and BAM.
Grateful to God, grateful to SR, grateful for small miracles no matter what the future holds.
Dad is in generally rough shape - too many awful drugs, horrible career / driving / mobility / freedom ending cancer....but today, he had that sweet spark of life in his voice...we don't get to hear it much anymore between the steroids, antidepressants, and infusions, but it was back today, and it was so sweet.

Thanks everyone! My daddy-yo is the world to me, and i semi jokingly fear ending up on the dreaded 'other side' of this forum when the inevitable eventually happens - 80 million long years from now. Thanks for the love and support as always!
This is such awesome news!!!!
I do understand. My mom has bone marrow cancer. Even a small improvement, hell minuscule is celebrated. The "spark" in their voices is what I live for.
I'm so happy for you!
