I have a plan worked out with my family which involves not getting access to my money for at least one month. I have a car so I can get out for the day plus a membership to my local golf course. Apart from that I will be spending time on here and coming here if I start getting thoughts of drinking again

Glad you are back. I have see many leave and come back they had dropped the only support system they had. I for one, try to drop in here at least once a day.
This feeds my resolve to remain on course.

No, you wouldn't be better off ending it all. Keep reading and posting. What was going on when you picked up again? it might be a good idea to add to your plan other than your family keeping your money. Not having access to money hasn't Stopped my husband from going out. In fact, I think it only adds to the thrill of thinking he's getting away with something.

You can figure it out. You can Get sober. There is a thread running right now on "what is a plan?" It has some great information on it. Many of us have been back and forth quitting. I repeated day one over and over. Have hope. Take care of yourself.

Posting here is a great start but you may need other tools to overcome this. Have you looked into AVRT or AA? You'll find info about both on here, and they are both programmes you can get started on today.

Hi Neo,
I'm a drug addict ( opiates, benzos & now kicking suboxine. )

I've been coming here everyday for the last 25 days & it has truly helped me!

Keep coming back ( or never leave. )

Everyone's here for you!!!
