1st night sober
Hey guys not sure who's listening out there but tonight I'm trying to put an end to my 5 years of drinking almost every night. I usually drink 9-12 beers per night. All within 3-4 hours and then I fall asleep and do it over and over again!

Hello Miggy and welcome. Congratulations on your decision. The first few days are going to be reall rough. Get ready for a the ride. Remember, good food, sweet things, rest and as little stress as possible. come here as often as you want. hang in there, know it is getting better
Hi Miggy and welcome. It will get easier, the first few days are physically rough. Make sure you stay hydrated and drink sport drinks or gatorade.
A lot of people have trouble sleeping when they first quit drinking. It is normal and it should get easier.
Check out the 24 hours recovery connections. It is a thread where people commit not to drink or drug for the next 24 hours and a fun supportive way to hold each other accountable
