What will you do for YOU today?
Good morning,
I thought for fun, instead of focusing on everyone around us, let's focus on us! So...what will you do for YOU today?
I will do the following for me:
Run 4 miles
Eat some dark chocolate
Contact a friend I miss
Read my Courage to Change reading
Treat myself kindly!

I usually have an answer to this, but today, I am struggling. I have been house hunting for us both, I have been teaching my students. When I get home I will do laundry, dishes and cook dinner. All of it for both of us, none of it for me. But then I am not sure how to make time for me anymore. When I was living alone, all those chores benefitted only me. Now they don't. So I'd like some ideas too.

Today, I will:
exercise (I already did this)
eat healthfully (so far so good)
meditiate
write down 3 things that I am grateful for
I think that encompasses mind, body and soul and even if I don't do everything on my list I started my day out strong and I'm already grateful for that.

Struggling with this today too; I'm tired after a crappy night of sleep.
I'm committing to the following by posting them here:
I will meditate, at least once today
I will do yoga, even if only for 10 mins today
I will continue to avoid sweets & treats as much as possible - DD & I just finished 7 days of no snacks containing obvious sugar (except fruit, inspired by the thread in the fitness forum) & I'm feeling good so I'm trying to keep the momentum going.
I will take a long, hot bath in Epsom salts before bed.
I will take all of my supplements today to help ward off that sleepy feeling that is creeping up on me now at midday.
I will take some extra supplements before bed (zinc, Vit C, probiotics) because RAH is sick as a dog & I don't want whatever he has!
for this today!

Finished my taxes (a bit disappointed but still OK), prayed about the taxes (God, let me stay calm b/c my plans have to change), then did 1.5 miles on the treadmill.
Next up: hot bath, Aleve, nap. Maybe work on 5th Step.

Doing a movie and pizza with my neighbor tonight. Catching up at work - man that feels good. Keeping up my excitement about quitting smoking and working on healthy eating and exercise to curb cravings. So far so good.
