NA beer

Stayed home with my family to watch the superbowl. I went to the grocery store & bought some O'douls. It was horrible.I was not tempted to buy beer, just wanted to try something other than soda, milk, or water.Any other beverages you guys have found to replace alcohol?Mike 1mo 5days sober!

Fruit juice based drinks are good alternative.

Also herbal/green teas I drink a lot of, as with juices there's soo many flavours and varieties!!

I personally drink diet Pepsi all day at work etc, and I quite like a NA beer, I find the best one to be Cobra, it is a genuine 0% unlike some others out there, it's a nice refreshing drink.

Green teas are a great substitute! Also, if you put some sugar, honey, chocolate syrup and tad of cinnamon into cup; then a little hot coffee, stir, a little milk and then more coffee... that is also very good!

No NA beer for me. I would not dare try it, and risk ending up buying a barrel of the real stuff.

Mineral bubbly water, lemon or lime flavored gives my that burning sensation when I drink it fast. Feel da burn!!!

NA beers are fine if you have realistic expectations but it's not a problem to hate them as its a slippery slope for most.

I'm constantly amazed at the amount of non alcoholic stuff there is to drink these days...NA beer just reminded me of the buzz I could not have...there's masses of truly non alcoholic alternatives in any grocery store

I like mineral waters as I like how they are carbonated and I find them refreshing. Green tea is another option I like.

Have you tried Italian sodas? Or lemonades mixed with teas?

For some reason, I just can't stomach bubbly/fizzy water, the sensation is just weird, but soda seems to work just fine, why is that?

When it comes to water, it needs to be flat/still water, and I'm all fine!!

Chamomile Tea, lemon water, fruit juice, Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar drink, Holy Basil Tea, grass juices, and good old water are all healthy and delicious drinks to put in the body.

San Peligino bottled water for me. I used it to quit for 1 yr before. Im back to it again.

When i did have NA beer, i really enjoyed it. But i found it more of a summery drink like if youre at a friends pool or bbq. However if youre drinking it to feel like beer then i would advise against it because youre just temoting fate. Stay away from anything and anyone who are bad influences on youre sobriety.

Hot drinks: coffee. Good quality coffee. I appreciate it and anticipate and enjoy more than when I drank.
Occasional herbal tea.

Cold drinks: seltzer with cranberry and a lemon slice, lots of diet sodas.

I'm fascinated by folks who drink NA beer or wine (not to offend anyone). To me it's like drinking a decaf skinny soy latte - nicknamed a "Why Bother" at a local cafe.

As for alternatives; herbal teas (hot or cold - depending on the season), myriad juices. Just a question, I've never heard of seltzer water here in OZ, what is it? Or it's equivalent?

I would think that for me, O'Douls in place of regular beer would be something I wouldn't do. Eventually, I would just be disappointed and go back to the real thing. It's like seeing how close you can get your hand to the fire without burning it.

I asked my husband to pick up some half and half at the grocery store for our coffee. He accidentally came home with "fat free" half and half--what is that besides an abomination?
