Here comes my 3rd sober weekend.No worries about being a drunken fool or driving after one too many. Looking at my family & seeing them look at me in a different way,They are proud of me. I have so much more self-confidence now.I used to have to drink to be able to talk to a stranger but now I'm able to do it sober.I was thinking about a glass of wine today but will get some sparkling grape juice instead. Hope everyone has a sober weekend,Go Packers!!

Try to arrange activities for your weekends that you did not typically do when you were drinking. It may help you stay sober because that way you can avoid the previously alcohol-associates "cues" that could trigger you. There is always a weekender thread here on SR with lots of traffic and support also.
