Good practice

This is good stuff:http://meditationsinwonderland.tumbl...ing-meditation. Have recently been trying to remember to smile all the time. We have everyone in the family reminding each other. It works.

I've been silently telling everyone I love them. Everyone. It seems to be a useful exercise.

I liked his book on anger also. "Compassionate listening" is still challenging for me but so rewarding especially in marriage if I give it my best. In a nutshell it's just listening-no opinions or even responses other than nods, eye contact and the willingness to truly listen for up to an hour. Nearly impossible to do but results are as good as how long I can hold my tongue... And vice/versa.

Hey. Are you my ex-husband? That used to make me crazy(er).

Sometimes a response is needed.
