Well it looks like i made it through the night... but my mind did think of a drink but i didn't... i must treat my addiction as an illness... u don't continue taking the medicine that u are allergic to that keeps making u sick...
Just keep on doing it, one day at a time. It gets easier!

Glad you didn't pick up a drink when your mind went there. When that happens to me I take a step back and look at what is going on. Am I hungry, angry, lonely or tired? Usually one of those is the culprit and when I take care of it the cravings lessen or go away.
Drinking for me is the symptom of other stuff going on. I know drinking is never going to make things easier and just one is too many.
