Congrats! I'm one of the few people who lost weight when drinking...probably because I didn't eat. I dropped from 150 to 125 - pretty alarming considering my height. I'm nowhere near getting back to the weight I want to be at, but at least my cheeks are sunken and gray anymore.
When I was drinking my weight got up to 270 lbs at one point. When you're drinking a six-pack of pounders a day, that's about 1000 extra calories in the diet. Got down to 195 lbs over a year or so, then I was eating to support weight training and got up to 210, now back down to 205 (en route to 185ish).
Being unable to control my weight was just one more thing that made me feel powerless over my situation. Finding out that I could manage my weight through lifestyle changes gave me added confidence to get other aspects of my life under control.

Wonderful! Do treat yourself to some new clothes, if you can. I think treating ourselves (with something other than alcohol, which of course is no treat in the end) is key. Just bought myself some new perfume to celebrate my 30 days this week!
