Lost
Hey Needtochange1, welcome!
Sounds like you're going threw a lot. I think a good amount of people in here have stories of losses as well. I know I do. I also know how much it can suck.
This forum is a great resource. There's a lot of support here, and most of us have either experienced, or are experiencing much of what you're feeling at one point or another.
You're here, which is a great step forward and I look forward to seeing you in here more.

Welcome Needtochange. You are never alone - you have us.
I was drinking all day when I found SR. I was hopeless and alone, too. No one in my life understood what I was going through - but my friends here got me back on my feet and gave me strength. Please stay with us - we can help.

Welcome NeedToChange. I can relate to what you are going through. I lost my job, apartment, car, finances, and finally my girlfriend to alcohol. I was left with two suitcases of clothes and nothing else when I finally got help.
I know that feeling of despair and hopelessness you must be experiencing. It doesn't have to be permanent. If you want your life back, the booze must go. Alcohol has a different effect on people like us whereby it takes us over and pushes everything else out. We simply cannot co-exist with it.
PLenty of understanding people here if you need some guidance.
