Stayed over night at work last night, started early this morning and finishing at 430 today, day 4 is here and I'm getting through it with some positive mind talk and energy. My job is a head ache at present, manager being very disinterested in issues but I'm just using that as motivation to be one step ahead and have all my responsibilities organised then when the time comes, be ready to deal with any problems he causes me. I was recently placed on a performance review and asked yesterday about when this would be looked at, the response was "oh yeah, that" type of thing. Seems like he is barely interested in addressing it at present. Makes no odds though! I'm on top of stuff and ready for another day sober tomorrow! Roll on band practice tonight!

Good stuff stewy, stuff em look after you. Im day one entering day 2. Drank 10 to 18 beers a night 5 years and gradually built up to that for 5 years prior. Any withdrawel when you quit?

Sounds like you're in a good place. It's a lot easier to stay ahead at work sober. Just don't let your manager dictate your mood.

Not at moment Mr Justin, you sound similar to me in terms of drinking pattern, I was drinking cans.

It's weird when you think of it, you wouldn't sit down and polish off 15 cans of coke like you would lager!
