Took a big walk this morning

Hi Everyone!

Today is day 11, and the first day I could muster the energy to get my butt up and exercise. I took a nice long walk through the hills and it made me feel really good. For anyone suffering from anxiety, I highly recommend walking or any sort of exercise. It's very calming and beneficial and will combat the potential damage done by consuming extra snickers bars during early sobriety. have a good day everyone.

Thanks for the tip, I don't work on Mondays and the voice in my head is screaming that I have time to consume before my wife gets home. Gonna go to park for walk I think.

Mmm... Walking through the hills sounds fantastic. You've inspired me to get up and go walking. It does help with so much!

Congrats on sobriety!!

Brilliant. Walking and any exercise is really critical for me. My brain craves the endorphins I think. Good on you with starting the activity. It will only increase your energy!

Walking was, and still is, a huge part of my recovery program.

I'm glad you are seeing some of the many benefits.
