Ugh, I'm sorry to hear you are having a hard time. Do you want to talk about anything? Or just needed to post/vent on looser terms? Sending a virtual hug. Good for you for recognizing these feelings for what they are and staying committed to not drinking though.

Feel like I could cry for hours, im embarrassed to admit that but its just the way I feel. Its all so scary this sobriety thing yet I know deep in my heart it is a road to freedom, I guess I am just in the painful emotional withdrawls. Staying strong tho

I just took the dog out to get some fresh air, feel somewhat better!

I will NOT use this as a reason / excuse to drink because this REALLY has to be the last time I reach for sobriety, I cant go through it again! THIS time it works!!!!

No need to feel embarrassed! Maybe what you need IS a good cry. It is very beneficial to cry, it removes toxins from the body and has been proven to reduce stress and help with your mood. DOn't be afraid to let it all out!

Gues what chilled, I'm a grown guy alone at home today and I did have a cry! Better than drinking though, which is what I did last Monday. I feel better now though and last time I checked, crying doesn't lead to hangovers.
You can do this...hang in there.

p.s. Glad the guys at the gym couldn't see me.

Been there and will be there again. Good to get it out than suppress it. No use in drowning the demons. The bastards have learned to swim.

Boy, those first few toughs were extremely tough on my physically and emotionally. Hydrate! Get plenty of rest! Deep breathing exercises, all helped me.
