For the last couple of days I have not been able to get on SR. I really missed it a lot. I was not able to go to the meeting last night, could not log on. Anne said SR was just messed up and they were working on it. That was really hard for me. I realized I am really leaning on SR a lot. I felt very alone, and unsupported. Maybe that was good for me. I did not want to drink, I just wanted to get into SR. You guys are great. I will never take you all for granted.

I had a completely irrational thought when I couldn't log in yesterday: whoa...what if I can never log in to SR again?

I'm not a hugely prolific poster, but even the fleeting thought chilled me to the core. Made me recognize once again how important this community is.

I didn't experience it.

I know I have several back up's in place should it ever happen though.

Internet connection is not guaranteed 24/7 ..... networks can go down for days in the event of a major meltdown of some description.

Is there something to be learnt here ?

Hawks, it was not the connection, it was the web site. Yes, we learn how important this web site is to us, and what a great place it is.

I couldn't get in for a few days too!!! I missed being able to post and hopefully offer support in return for people here doing the same for me when I needed it. What a great group of peeps
