Head hurts eyes are blurry and I am dry heaving but I am back

Wow, hangovers suck! One more reason why I am going to kick this damn habit and live a happy life one day. Fired up some inspirational music ( ok its the theme song to Indiana Jones don't laugh) John Williams is the man and I love everything he ever wrote.

You know the best time to write a gratitude list is when your dry heaving. Believe me, the best time to be grateful is when your dry heaving if I was wet heaving that would be too messy. Doable but smell and not so productive.

Really, so I am going to put my gratitude list here for all of you:

1. I have a beautiful wife and daughter

2. I want to quit this insidious habit and will

3. I have all you wonderful folks here at SR, love you guys

4. I am smart, have degrees, and am capable

5. Nobody makes crab rangoon like I do

6. I have a sense of humor and laugh at life often

7. I am tall, if you ever need a good set of sholdurs to sit on to watch the game let me know

8. I am a good father, my daughter loves me

9. I am always there to help my friends no matter what, once stuff hits the wall I am always the person people call and trust ( honestly because I've been there and done that and most know it)

10. I am a hard worker

So that is my gratitude list, I am back, medicated and rocking it again. Really, I've called the mental hospital told them what happened. Asked for additional help, I am on forever hold with unemployment, signing myself up for counseling and putting together a making a note for my wife to show her how grateful I am and how much I love her. I am also planning a trip with the little one this afternoon to the park, that little girl is my best bud, and I just want to say thank you to her for putting up with my BS.

I am a bit shaky ( real shaky actually shaking) but regaining myself again, I know its early, but time to come back. Last week, my positive thinking and mantra need to continue, I can't will not, and never allow myself to be depressed for too long. Good day folks, thought I would tell you all I am doing great and back!

I want to quit because I want to be the kind of person my kids look up to, and I want them to keep that look they have in their eyes that says "he's perfect".

Soberwolf, I smother my dough in olive oil, cream cheese galore, I am heavy on the crab and deep fry them. Personally I always add jalapeno, and mushroom to my rangoon. On occasion a special treat is to toss a small amount of hamburger in too, is a secret recipe. Hamburger, jalapeno, crab, a olive oil basted shell and deep frying the whole bit. Telling you my friend its unconventional but awesome and every loves it!

And if I were drinking it would have come out all slurred and Id have to repeat myself and it would totally ruin the joke.

I am trying my best to be sober. I remember Sunday trying to walk around and not being able to do so that well and think wtf am I doing? Do I like this feeling? Nope! Then why did I order another? Its frustrating as hell sometimes.
