Hello SR:

I am on day four and just had my first sober weekend in in 14 years. I just wanted to drop a note and say thanks to SR for all of the support and messages that were sent to me over the weekend. There is no way I could have done it without the support of SR.

I know its cliché but if I can do it, please know that you can to.

I know I am in the early stages of sobriety but I feel like I am on my way toward my goal of staying sober. Thank you SR.

Getting a weekend under your belt is a relatively large first step. Awesome work!

Now your AV will try and use this against you...convince you that you've proved that you can quit anytime you like...so you might as well save the rest of quitting for later etc etc.

Don't get sucked in. Keep doing the work!

Yes it felt awesome. I always looked forward to the Friday night and all day Saturday drink-a-thons. Which is odd as they were no different than the Monday-Thursday binges.

But I stuck to my plan and prevailed. It feels so good to not be in the typical Monday haze here at work today.

It was not easy, but I made it through. All thanks go to SR.
