New guy
Just a quick post to say "Hi".
This is my first day as a member and I have just passed 10 weeks clean after quitting drinking. I had been drinking off and on for years, but with serious issues the past 2+ years. This is my second shot at sobriety, but with a renewed interest in regaining my life and health.
I'm still using "Disulfiram" to prevent myself from giving in during difficult days, but so far so good. I joined to see how others cope and see if others experience some of the same issues I have been experiencing. I'm sure it's all quite normal, but I'm still kind of new to managing things without chemical assistance.
Anyway, as promised... "Hi"

Hi and congratulations on your sober time. Most people have the same feelings during the different periods of time we’re at, it may vary a lot but if we stay sober the rewards are so worth it.
BE WELL
BE WELL
Welcome Neil, I like to start my day with a cup of coffee and checking in here, which is part of my daily plan to stay sober. I get a lot out of reading the posts here as it's a good way to stay focused on what's important.
Thanks very much for the warm welcome, the kind words of encouragement, and the suggestions. I'm really glad I joined and I am looking forward to getting involved. I'm posting from the other side of the Atlantic, so will inevitably be delayed in responses, but... better late than never. All the very best to you all. :-)
