So it's day 3 for me. This will be my first sober weekend in almost 8 years. Kind of scary. I don't know how to relax without alcohol and I'm not sure what to do tonight. I'm trying to keep busy

I hear ya! All my drinking buddies are texting for weekend plans. They're still questioning my absence last weekend. I guess I'll tell them, although they'll dismiss my alcohol concerns.

Trust me I was party girl bigtime , keg stands , shots , partied 24/7 etc! The thing I have learned is alcohol is not your best bud like you think. It is poison to your body...we are all here because our bodies have had enough. We abused it unfortunately. Stay busy...pamper yourself ...do things for you, heal your body!
