Did not chicken out
I posted here for the first time yesterday. I relapsed after 3+ years sober and was scared to go back to an AA meeting. I went last night and was embraced with open arms. An important thing I was told is “We do not shoot our wounded” Thank you SR for the support and advice and encouragement. I still have a long road ahead of me but today I feel more confident and don’t feel alone. Again Thank you SR
I'm so pleased you got a good welcome at AA, but I'm not surprised
And you're definitely not alone here on SR. We're happy to walk this road alongside you for as long as you need :

that took a lot of guts to go back to aa and well done for doing so, you will give out hope one day for others who take a drink and feel they can not go back : )
aa doors are open to all and always will be. thats why i love it so much as it doesnt want anything in return other than to try to help.
well done again
