Aim

Is there anywhere on this site, or do you know of another site that would be appropriate for kids? Or do you think this would be appropriate for them? Their ages are 15, 13 and 9. The nine year old may not use it but the other two may...just curious.

Hi Aim...

I just looked at about 20 web pages that listed alateen, but there doesn't seem to be anything on this order, with a message board and such. We have a 16 year old who post's here... I think dealing with an alcoholic parent causes you to have to grow up too fast in some ways. I guess whether or not they relate to this site would depend on the teen.

Anybody seen what Aim is lookin' for?

Thanks. Actually I've heard of Alateen and I totally spaced it. I think it's important though to be able to use the message boards...maintain anonymity...plus they're online constantly.
Thanks again and I would welcome any other suggestions.

Not sure why we couldn't do something for kids on here. Try e-mailing the webmaster - perhaps there are more moms/dads with the same question you have...

It's principally a site for teens recovering from drug/alcohol abuse problems, but there is some info. of the anon-type and lots of good facts about drugs and alcohol in general.
