Day 13

hi all I'm at day 13 since my last episode and feeling okay

yesterday was bad just craving a drink all day and feeling jittery even two hours of exercise didn't help much, I tried reading the doctor sleep book but only managed a few chapters so had a bath with helped even though I got out wanting a drink even more as I think the hot bath in the hot weather made it worse lol

I'm off to my recovery group today for 2 hours and cycling there its another beautiful day here in the uk

also charging my e fag up and using that now instead of smokes

I just would like to share our mantra at this group

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY RECOVERY

MY RECOVERY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING ELSE

I say that morning and night and when I'm struggling

lots of love all of you wherever you are

charlotte xxxx

You are doing great Charlotte

I'm glad to hear you're cutting out the fags as well.

Great mantra and very very true

Have a beautiful day in the Lake Country (I really want to go there one day. . . )

Congratulations, Charlotte! That is terrific. I wasn't much good for the first few weeks either. Now, however, I am discovering the joys of reading again. (Something I allowed alcohol to take from me, sadly.)

I highly recommend Dr. Sleep (one of King's best in years, I think.)
