Hi I am looking for a muslim sponsor, preferably in arizona where I live but if you are out of state I can have you call me at a certain time every day or I might be able to call you until I find a muslim sponsor in AZ. If anyone knows of a muslim sponsor or muslim in AA please let me know. I'm not sure if this is the proper forum to put this in so if it is not can you place it in the correct forum and let me know thank you -Hasson

I guess you could also try the alcoholism 12 step support forum. There are one or two member located in the Middle East that might be able to help.

welcome Hassan, try your local AA intergroup numbers. I'm sure someone local can help you out. Is there any dire reason it has to be a Muslim sponsor?
Just try working with someone until you can meet someone else who fits your criteria.

Hi Hassan, two of my home group members are from Africa and are Muslims. One has 8 years sober and the other one 3. There are Muslims in AA
I would suggest that you go to meetings in neighborhoods where there are immigrants from Africa. Calling intergroup might be a good idea too.
