Well its 16 days sine i had my last binge and im still keeping sobre and drug free, my head has been telling me im might be ok for another little binge but i have not taken much notice of it. Im trying to keep away from all my so called friends and i realised that i dont actually have any friends that dont have drug and alcohol problems. I keep getting calls and messages to pop over to the city but i know if i do that i will be on another binge. It seems to be like a special club where they dont want you to leave. Think its time to change my number and get some real friends.

Great job on 2 Weeks!!

When I got Sober I had to make some changes in where I hung out and what company I kept, I think it can be inevitable in recovery as we may have surrounded ourselves with people that continued to fuel our addictions.

Yes, you may have to change your friends. You no longer have drinking as the common denominator as the basis of your relationship.
Have you tried AA? You'll meet sober people there just like you.
All my friends, when I was drinking, were bar flies. That's what we did. It was a pretty sad life.
Now I've found out there are actually people who don't drink. What a revelation!
we have lots of fun together. I wish the same for you.
