6 months today
I felt a bit sick this morning as I was up late eating chocolate and watching Friends reruns. Then I got a lovely message from Venuscat of the 24 hour club congratulating me on 6 months, which cheered me right up 
It feels very strange. The last few months have been quite odd. Not only was the alcohol causing anxiety to my mind, but there was also the other things: buying and hiding bottles, hoping no one would get the smell, disposing of bottles...there was too many things to think about! Now I am free from all that and life is more calm and peaceful.
I always thought I needed alcohol to cope with my mom and my shyness. Turns out I can cope with her just fine and I am not as shy as I thought I was.
Thanks to all of my friends at SR, and here's to another 6 more months!!

Fabulous news Tetra, you are a fine example to everyone that we do not need alcohol to overcome life's dramas, life only gets more complicated when we envolve mind altering substances.
