6 months today
 

I felt a bit sick this morning as I was up late eating chocolate and watching Friends reruns. Then I got a lovely message from Venuscat of the 24 hour club congratulating me on 6 months, which cheered me right up :)

It feels very strange. The last few months have been quite odd. Not only was the alcohol causing anxiety to my mind, but there was also the other things: buying and hiding bottles, hoping no one would get the smell, disposing of bottles...there was too many things to think about! Now I am free from all that and life is more calm and peaceful.

I always thought I needed alcohol to cope with my mom and my shyness. Turns out I can cope with her just fine and I am not as shy as I thought I was.

Thanks to all of my friends at SR, and here's to another 6 more months!!
