Do good
Do good
Woke up this morning and feel great! I have been thinking about how great it feels to not worry about the night before, to not feel like s%|€, to eat anything for breakfast without feeling sick, to have time to lounge around before going to work because I'm not hung over, to see the sunshine. Today is a great day because we are sober, focusing on our health and choices and can enjoy the small things in life without being in a fog. I hope everyone is having a good day and can go and do some good. Take care of yourself today and someone near and dear to you.

Cofeecake, I could not agree more with the benefits of waking up refreshed.
It's the weekend, so I would usually already be at my 7 beers just to get me moving from last nights royal rumble.

. Hi krete! I'm 119 days sober. It hasn't always been easy but it is better than the alternative and I am finally feeling like my old self. Or should I say real self! I couldn't remember what it felt like to be sober. I hope everyone is having a good day. So important to appreciate each day.
Excellent Coffecake, yes sober is a warm feeling like the one we get when we drink, until that horrible wakeup happens. Best part is being able to appreciate a sunnyday without squinting or closing the shades! Hope you and yours are well! Congrats on your journey! Happy Easter ! and importantly Stay Strong and Well ! Bobby
Hi Cofeecake, I agree, it's a fantastic feeling waking up without any misgivings about the day before. I'm with you on the fog, I didn't realise I had it until I stopped drinking.
My skin, my brain even my eyesight is better ( even though age takes it's toll and computers at work) . I didn't realise a lot of my ailments were caused by booze.
Sobriety certainly sets us free.
