Hi
Hello.
I live in the Deep South. I love nature and animals. Animals are pure. Not like people. A person can hide emotions, pain and secrets. My secret is that I am an alcoholic. I think so. I don't drink daily. I don't need it to get by.
I binge drink. I go out once a week. The last 3 weeks, I have not remembered to much. Last night was a big one.
The slap in the face happened when I went to get something from the freezer. There was a milkshake in the door. I do not remember getting it at all.
I do not want to do it anymore. I don't want a drop.
Thank you for reading.

I'm also glad you found this site. Just keep coming and follow some lifesaving hints and our lives get better because we get better by not picking up that first drink so we don't have to get sober AGAIN.
BE WELL
BE WELL
Glad to meet you Reb. This is a great place to be for help & encouragement.
I started out my drinking career by binging too. It all seemed so innocent years ago. In my heart I knew I didn't drink like others - it did something different to me. Unfortunately I didn't pay attention to the warning signs - the way you are. I kept going with it until I was drinking 24/7 in the end. I'm glad you're taking a look at what alcohol does to you. Congratulations on making this big decision. We are with you.
