I'd like recommendations for a good sobriety app that counts the days of sobriety (currently on day 2 for the millionth time). I downloaded one and I don't care for it as I have to go in and advance by day myself for every day I'm sober. I want one that doesn't rely on me going in there and adding to it daily in case I forget. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance. And I hope that makes sense.

i use the 12 step companion. If you are in the AA program or use the principles and Big Book, I recommend it. It has all the prayers, principles, the main 164 and personal stories. There are many many aps for sobriety, but I do like this one the best. And of course the Sober Recovery ap for when I need to read some forumns.

Hi Amanda, there are lots of apps out there, I use Ipromise for IPhone, gives a progressive day counter and lots of other stuff as well...

I have a galaxy s4 but I'll see if there's something similar to ipromise. I am not in AA so I don't necessarily need one that's AA-aligned but I'll check it out.

there's a super-basic one on appstore called "sobriety tracker". That's what I use. Just set day 1 and it increments the total days daily.

I use an app called ImQuit on my Android.

Mine is set to track tobacco, diet coke, cursing, and of course alcohol.

Sometimes just the thought of having to reset to zero days is enough to interrupt whatever craving, and the urge passes.

If you click on the Sober Recovery icon, there is a sober time button.
