After a few weeks of sobriety I tricked myself into thinking I could drink 'in moderation'


Damn you AV!

Anyways. I slipped up. And drank three bottles of wine (!!!) in one night. So here we go again.

I'm not sure whose hashtag it is but the quote 'Sobriety delivers everything alcohol promised' is at the forefront of my mind today.

I've changed my plan to include a counsellor and meetings. I can't do it alone obviously!

Thanks for posting! I think it's great that you recognized your AV and that you realized the plan you were using didn't work so you're willing to mix it up and go at it differently (meetings and a counselor)... Good job in getting right back to it! If I've learned one thing so far (and if you don't mind my two cents), that AV will adapt to your knew tactics and come at you from a different angle, keep an eye out for that P.O.S.!!
