14 Days (and health)

First a little about me; I had undiagnosed Hepatitis C for about 15 years and drank heavily. When I was diagnosed I still continued to drink. I had to get a liver biopsy and now I get a blood test every two months. At last blood test my numbers were not good, I had to get a transfusion, so I decided to give up drinking again. I have been in & out of program for years; longest time sober ever was just over three months, last break ran 37 days. Now, having health problems I have gotten serious, 14 says so far... wish me luck. This site helps me out a lot.

Thanks for sharing your story edeneen. Maybe this will help someone else reading this to quit for good to avoid long term health issues. I wish you the best. Hang in there. You have best chance of beating this by quitting for good and making a life long commitment to sobriety.

Take care.
