Red face Help

Well this is a 1st for me. Have never been on a donor living website, but feel I need all the help I can get..So am willing to try every forum. I am 5 weeks sobor I have been going to meetings everyday. I SO desperately need to succeed day by day this time. I have hope, but with that comes FEAR. Please pray for me and I appreciate anyone willing to lend a helping ear or advice.

Hi Tamryn,
Well done on 5 weeks, and for making so many meetings! There is fear initially but the longer you go, the more confident you feel that you can handle problems without adding alcohol to the mix

Welcome, you are doing great.

A bit of fear isn't necessarily a bad thing, I have felt it too. It helps me remember how bad things can get and how I need to be strong and vigilant. But at nearly 7 months now I can tell you if you keep being strong and having hope the fear will become less and less, and you will grow more sure and confident in yourself. And life will get better and better.
