First day of the rest of my life.

I'm tired of throwing up and the diarrhea.

A very first important step was being honest with a relative about what I've been doing and how much.

Her expressed concern sent me to Google to read about what alcohol does to the body. I was horrified.

And I've been feeling very under the weather all day. Haven't eaten in two days. Profound fatigue. And I just want to sleep. I want to get in bed.

Learned a lot today about how I need to be gentle with myself and REST.

So here I am. I knew this day would come.

Welcome, TC. The first few days can be rough, but they get better. Please eat something! Soup is always a good option if you're not feeling too hungry.
