What is your outlet for irritating days?

Now that I am sober and I have had a bad day I feel like it is hard to figure out how to unleash my utter frustration from a myriad of annoyances that have all come to a head today. I think I will go downstairs and do some pushups. What do you do to make yourself feel better? I need suggestions!
P.s.. I cannot go outside since we seem to be in a perpetual winter storm this neck of the woods.

I go to meetings. I spend time here. I go to the gym. I play zuma. I buy bass guitars.

That last one there can be a problem. Last 2, actually.

I come here a lot - a lot, also enjoy dog walking as a great way to get out of myself. Here in Ohio there haven't been too many dog walking days lately so I truly enjoy the few we do get.

I also like watching movies and old MASH episodes.

I do serious cleaning. Like where I get every crumb out of the toaster, remove every shelf and drawer from the fridge, wipe between the plastic vent on the oven etc. Darn if the place doesn't look good when I am done and detailing like that scrubs the SOB's from my mind as well.

Working out/ exercising . I can stress enough how much of a stress reducer it has been.

Also, reading, and driving with my music turned all the way up

I take a walk or I restart my day over by taking a ten minute break, closing my eyes and breathing deep in and out until I get to my inside place. I then tell myself that I am restarting my day and leaving all the negativity behind.

HAHAHa Joe! man if i bought a bass guitar for every day like this (since I have only tried bass guitar briefly on garageband)... You're funny.
I'm going to try these things... and Threshold if I think cleaning the house would be most productive... not to mention satisfying and a great metaphor for working through issues and a clean kitchen at the end. I did some pushups.. it did help a little. I usually like running but this winter has been tremendously hard just to walk around without wiping out. Yeah I think I will put on headphones.. music can make everything better.

Headphones are a great idea. I don't know your taste in music but Beethoven's Ninth at top volume works for me.

Meditate, learn to be grateful for being sober, acknowledging that thoughts and emotions are temporary phenomena.

Meditation and relaxation is fine, but you have to do PHYSICAL EXERCISE first.

Same here Cusper with both the weather and the pushups. I've been getting hooked on those lately. I am able to switch it up too with some dumbbells. As I'm sure you know there are all kinds of other calisthenics you can do with no weights and get in really good shape. You have any interest in either playing or learning an instrument or another language? Cleaning and fixing things works for me too. Any creative outlets like painting, taking pictures, making videos, maybe a satirical blog?

Yeah Scott, I am actually a painter. That's how I make money. And I mess around making ridiculous songs on garageband on my ipad. hahaha stupid I know. I have been youtubing all of these different kinds of weight lifting without the weights. What i feel like is when things bother me it's almost as if I have to purge it all by working out then writing about it. I usually set aside time at night to write a journal to myself about how my recovery is going and what is bothering me. So I am blaring music and writing in my journal. I have to get some dumbbells though, i love workout accessories! or haha workout options.
