It's Friday night and I'm sitting chilling out with my water and munchies. So glad to be sober and know that I'll wake up tomorrow morning feeling fresh, clear-headed and with no shame. Hope everyone has a great weekend. :-)

I'm right with you too. Made an awesome pizza...watching the Olympics. Meeting a friend for a workout in the morning. Not too bad.

It's a sober Friday for me sitting here drinking tea but the voice in my head telling me to walk down the street to pick up a bottle of booze keeps getting louder. I used to always binge on Fridays and Saturdays. I know it's just my AV speaking and I know exactly where it'll end up. The voice just wont shut up though

Thanks, everybody. :-) Dogged - We all hear that AV calling us but we have to be determined to beat it and remind ourselves what will happen if we do give in to it. Remember that the illness wants us to drink. We have to be stronger than that. Remember to keep talking and keep busy if you can. Good luck and stay safe.
