2 months sober...grateful for SR!
Today marks 2 months sober for me. I feel like a new person!
Just a short 2 months ago, after my last bender, I was miserable and ashamed and just wanted to end it all. All I really needed to end was the drinking.
Now, I still have all of the problems and stressors of daily life, but can deal with them with a clear mind. Problem-solving has gotten much better also.
Just a quick post to thank deeker and all those that help with the 24 Hour Club thread, which has helped me to focus on one day at a time and stay the course. And I want to thank everyone else on this forum. Other than my family, SR is the only support I rely on...and I love you all!
To newcomers who are struggling....hang in there. It's tough at first but does get better. YOU are so worth it!
