on my way
I have abused pain killers for over 10 years. I weaned off of them for a week then stopped taking them all together. It's been 8 days and I feel so much better. On the 6th day, I felt withdrawl sympothoms again. How long will it take to be completely over withdrawl? I've tried to quit in the past, but this time I believe I am/will do it. I believe you have to have your head wrapped around the desire to quit, not when other or doing it for others. I am doing this for me so I can be better to others.

Hi Freedom - welcome.
Withdrawal has many factors - what drug it is, your lifestyle, whether you're on other meds.
Generally speaking tho, it's not uncommon tho to feel a little out of whack of and on for a while.
If you're really concerned I recommend you see a Dr
