Another bad day...
Another bad day...
....bad work day, frustration of difficult people and situations getting to me, acted in an unprofessional way in a meeting and was called on it, anxiety is worse than ever. But I refuse to drink. 14 days.
Sorry about the bad day Any. Had a few of those myself. Still do once in awhile.
Good news is that kind of stuff usually only happens once now. If someone corrects me on being a crab or whatnot, I only need the lesson once. If I were drinking, I'd have to go through it again and again. Heaven knows I wasn't listening most of the time then.
Never underestimate the power of a heartfelt I'm sorry. Thank you for pointing it out and I won't do that again. I've gained many coworkers and friends respect back now even though I'm far from perfect. Most people aren't looking for perfect. They are just looking for honest. Just what I found anyway.
Chin up! Great job on the 14 days!

Sleep is definitely a good option.
It's still early days and your body is going through a lot of changes. Go easy on yourself.
I'm thrilled you chose not to drink though. Try to bide your time with work issues, it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking a drink would be an answer to relax from a situation.

I sometimes take an over-the-counter med that contains 3 mg of melatonin and 200 mg of L-theanine. It's intended as a sleep aid but doesn't put me to sleep - just makes me really calm. Then I can relax and go to sleep.
