1 week sober, sleeping through the night, 5 lbs. lighter and SO GRATEFUL!!!!!!

I feel so amazing this morning. I made it 1 week and feel so blessed that I might burst.

I have been filling my time with exercise, shopping for and preparing healthy food, meditating, going to an AA meeting every day and starting some of the neglected craft projects that have been filling up my craft room.

5 lbs down?!?!?! WOW?!?!? I put on 40lbs in the last 2 years. All of those empty calories sure do add up, not to mention all the junk food I ate when I was drinking.

The best part of it all: I don't have to obsess ALL day about when or where I am going to get my next drink, how I am going to hide it and how I am going to recover from it the next morning.

That's the way foreward keep those days rolling. Time and mind filling projects must be good to keep your mind clear.
John.
Oh and isn't it great to achieve those days you thought impossible. From now on nothing is.
