Adjusting to treatment

I started intensive level treatment yesterday thats one step down from inpatient. Treatment is 7 and a half hours long and that's the longest time I've ever sat in therapy. It's intense and we go from group to group and they really want you to dig deep. The one thing I don't like and makes me uncomfortable are my feelings and now without any drugs or alcohol I have to feel. How do I adjust to this and get through the long hours?

I can relate with being uncomfortable with my feelings. I think most of us can. All I can say is that it will get easier as time passes.

No one said this recovery thing is easy -- but it is SO worth it .... and so are you.
